Jenny Mendes-van Beinum2025-05-23This restaurant is a real tribute to Goa. You havent had a true Goan experience u til you’ve had an authentic Pantlo Thali and this restaurant serves a great one! The whole experience was a joy from start to end. Apart from the Pantlo we had great prawns, stuffed calamari and jackfruit tacos, all of which I highly recommend. The interiors are decorated with art from the world famous Goan cartoonist Mario de Miranda which adds to the atmosphere and authenticity of the place. This restaurant is a unique and truly Goan gem.
Cameron Mendes2025-05-23A Culinary Gem in Goa: An Unforgettable Goan Feast Having visited Goa regularly over the past 25 years, I thought I had experienced the full spectrum of Goan cuisine—until now. Tucked away in the heart of North Goa, this restaurant completely redefined authenticity and flavor for me. Without hesitation, I can say this was the finest Goan meal I’ve ever had. We began with the Jackfruit Tacos, a delightful surprise that blended traditional ingredients with a modern twist. The Prawns Masala Fry followed, perfectly spiced and seared to golden perfection. The Stuffed Calamari was rich and tender, packed with layers of coastal flavor. The Chicken Cafreal was everything it should be—aromatic, zesty, and deeply satisfying. The crown jewel of the meal was the Jevnacho Pantlo, an extra-large Fish Thali designed for sharing (though you’ll be tempted to keep it all to yourself). It arrived like a celebration on a platter—an artful array of curries, rice, fried fish, and accompaniments that captured the essence of a Goan home-cooked feast. The experience wasn’t just about the food. The vintage-inspired décor added a nostalgic charm, transporting us to an era where time moved a little slower and meals were savored. It’s clear this place isn’t just serving food—it’s telling a story. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned Goa traveler, this is a must-try destination. For those in Panjim, you’re in luck—they’ve got a location there too. Wherever you dine, expect nothing less than culinary magic.

manoj anand2025-05-15A very nice and well decorated place, as per it's name. Lots of old stuff is used to decorate the place. The drinks were served in "Gurgureth", even the water was placed in one of these. Liked ginger lemon soda very much. The presentation of vintage kebab platter was also very nice. The food is delicious, good and served well and quickly. There's are some authentic goan dishes served here, specially some desserts. Pan ice cream was very good and we loved the way it was served. Overall, a place worth visiting at least once, though I am sure I will visit it many times.
Capt. A G Unniraj (Raj)2025-05-09Squid batter fry ordered as a starter, quantity was very less & small size squids. Chicken Manchurian was a watery sauce mixture which was bland. Overall food was just okay but priced high. Not worth the hype. Will not recommend.
Bindu Unniraj2025-05-09Went there en route to Goa after seeing so many positive reviews on Google but was disappointed with the quantity and quality of food served. I will not recommend this place!
